My desk: facing the students

Student desks: Facing board, me, and in a row because I like for students to be able to easily move their desks to work together but I like them in a row to reduce talking.

Book shelf: I am an avid reader and hope the same for my students I want to have a stocked bookshelf with books they have chosen with me for the shelf at the beginning of the year

Plants: I would love to have class plants to teach students responsibilities and also for their enjoyment

Carpet: I like a cozy place for students to go read or talk amongst each other. 

Lighting: I hope I have a classroom with good windows if not I will bring in lamps to brighten up the classroom.
